Important Notes on Compatibility:
1. This unit ONLY works with the original BMW NBT system. A NBT system car radio usually comes with a 6-pin LVDS port, a “MEDIA” button on the iDrive controller or a touch pad iDrive controller, a BMW ConnectedDrive interface.
Note: A “Car ConnectedDrive” interface does not guarantee that you have the NBT system.
2. If your car comes with NO audio AUX input, you will need an adapter to aid the installation. XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 and CA/ITR/FM03 (not included) are compatible. Connect the XTRONS unit to your car’s AUX input for audio functionality. Ensure AUX is enabled to enjoy the full audio experience with our head unit.
