Compatible System
This unit ONLY works with the original 1 Series F20 F21 / 2 Series Cabrio F23 NBT EVO system.
How to check if my original syetem is NBT EVO or NBT ?
NBT EVO system: Identical features of NBT EVO: 1 a 6-pin LVDS port. 2 “NBTevo_xxxx” and “Automatic map update” shows on version info. NOTE: A “ID5” or “ID6” interface does not guarantee that you have the NBT EVO system.
NBT system: Please buy XTRONS QLB22NB12NER if your vehicle comes with NBT system. Identical features of NBT: 1 a 6-pin LVDS port. 2 a “MEDIA” button on the idrive controller or a touch pad idrive controller. NOTE: A “Car interface does not guarantee that you have the NBT system.
Important Notes on Compatibility:
1. If your car comes with NO audio AUX input, you need to order a FM transmitter to aid for the installation. (XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 and CA/ITR/FM03 are compatible.)
2. After installation, the gesture control function cannot be activated and the touch function cannot work when you switch to original system (you can use iDrive controller to control on original system).
